On September 21, 2026, representatives of the Chinese state-owned corporation COVEC (China Overseas Engineering Group Co., Ltd.) visited the AERO-YÖL LOYIHA office.

On September 21, 2026, a working meeting was held at the office of the design and research company AERO-YÖL LOYIHA with representatives and engineering specialists from COVEC (China Overseas Engineering Group Co., Ltd.), a major state-owned engineering and construction enterprise under China Railway Group Limited (CREC). COVEC has been designated as the key contractor for the construction of the new 282 km Tashkent — Samarkand toll road. During the visit, the Chinese delegation expressed strong interest in collaborating with AERO-YÖL LOYIHA for local technical expertise and support. The discussions focused on core areas of engineering consultation and adaptation: Project Documentation Adaptation: Aligning COVEC’s technical designs and engineering solutions with the construction standards and building codes (SHNK/KMK) of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Consulting Services: Providing engineering and technical consultancy throughout the project preparation and planning stages; Field Supervision (Author's Supervision): Performing author's supervision to ensure construction compliance and quality control according to the approved designs. This meeting established a solid foundation for long-term strategic partnership in delivering one of Uzbekistan’s key transport corridors while meeting international standards and national regulatory requirements.
